Fuel preheating

Diesel and biofuels gel at minus temperatures. In the fuel, paraffin crystals form and becomes jelly-like and flaky. The flakes float in the fuel to the filter and glue themselves to the microporous filter surface. After a very short period of time, no fuel flows through the filter to the injection system. The result is that the engine loses power and stops.

Additives are not a satisfactory solution and help only to a limited extent. They may adversely affect the performance and life of the engine. In addition, these additives must be added before it gets cold.

Through the heating of diesel fuel conveying components (e.g. Engine filter start / operation), our electric heating cartridges ensure that a sufficient diesel flow is guaranteed, which allows for high reliability at low ambient temperatures.
